Everybody is dancing. As they keep on doing what they are doing they start considering the whole to be a unison, even though on a formal level it does not look like one.

Unisons enquire into the possibility of sharing a common dance at the same time that the dance is continuously fragmenting itself into our personal interpretations. Through movements and sounds we try out strategies to connect emerging elements and give space to them. We practice attention to become perceptive to subtle dimensions and intersections in order to be able to let them materialize between us and in front of an audience. Unisons is based on the score unison as a matter of fact that choreographer and teacher Alice Chauchat has generously shared with us.
